How to prioritise YOU

Are you a people pleaser?

Do you always look after everyone else before yourself?

Not only is that not healthy, it’s no fun either!

We all need to find a healthy balance between looking after ourselves and helping others.

Most of us understand this on an intellectual level, however putting it into practice can be hard.

Here is a video of my 4 step plan to get you started:

If you’re too busy to watch that, here’s a brief overview:

  • Be clear on WHY you want to start prioritising yourself.
    eg. To be healthier, to set a good example for your kids, to improve your relationships, to spend time doing things you enjoy etc.
  • Formulate a plan to free up time.
    You’ll need to either: Sacrifice, Delegate or Become more Efficient.
  • Tell people of your intentions and be prepared that this may not be received well.
  • Start small.
    Think of where you want to create new boundaries eg. Self. Body. Fuel focusing on habits rather than results.

And to wrap things up, here’s a hard hitting question for you:

By putting everyone else before yourself, what does it allow you to avoid?
