Member of The Month: Kerry

How long have you been a SBF member?

Approximately 2 years.

What’s one thing (either health related or not) that you learned in the last month?

Routine and planning works for both myself and my household. If we all know what we are doing the day is so much easier.

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?

I don’t really know many fun facts about myself, I like to keep to myself these days.

If you could choose anyone in the world as a mentor, who would it be?

I would chose my 3 children 100 times over. They are the strongest people I know and have excelled in life with every opportunity that arises for them.

What’s one habit / skill / goal that you’re currently working on?

Habit – eating correctly.

Goal – to better my upper strength.

Skill – handstand and headstand without falling over.

What’s a mistake you made early in your life that taught you a lot?

With my fitness level at the moment I have realised that when I was younger I should have been more involved with my health and fitness. Drinking has been another mistake (I have been alcohol free since 26/12/20 and feel amazing for it) even though I can’t change my past I can always change my future.

If you could only eat one SBF meal or snack for a whole month, what would it be?

Chicken curry. I could eat this all year long.

4 weeks between photos!!!

What’s your favourite quote?

Be positive, rid the negative.

What motivates you to stay healthy?

How I am feeling right now motivates me to get up every morning and get moving for the day. Knowing that you have done the best you can in a workout is an amazing feeling.

If you could be anyone else in the world for a day, who would it be and why?

I would be my son’s high school sports teacher. Other than my children, she is another person who I look up to (bit random I know) my hobby in life is my fitness and to me she is next level (not as good as the SBF Crew but watching her in person is awesome). I would want to be this women for a day so I can do all that she can do and just that little bit more.

How will you spend your retirement?

I had my first go on a SUP a few months ago and I really think this would be my retirement hobby.

What’s the meaning of life?

The meaning of life to me is to live life to the fullest and do everything you can in the smallest time possible. Love those that are your family and those that are ‘your people’ be happy, be proud!!

I can help you achieve your health and fitness goals too!
